Ultra rare stars and stripes shirt as worn by the hosts at USA 94. Although advertised as the away shirt, this shirt was worn in every game. The USA exited at the round of 16 stage – suffering a 1-0 defeat to eventual champions Brazil. This was the furthest the side had progressed in the competition in 64 years. The success of the national side and the tournament as a whole, which still remains the highest attended World Cup in history, have been credited with aiding the growth of the men’s game in the USA.
