Very rare matchworn away shirt worn against Northern Ireland On October 13, 1971, a UEFA Euro 1972 Qualifying match between Northern Ireland and the Soviet Union took place in Belfast, ending in a 1-1 draw. This was the last game in Belfast for Northern Ireland until 1975 as it was deemed unsafe to host international football. This was shirt was swapped with Eric Mcmordie and comes directly from his personal collection a letter of COA documenting this will come with the shirt. Unfortunately we can’t identify the player who wore the number 3 and Eric can’t remember.
