Rare goalkeeper shirt as worn by Schmeichel in the season the side finished runners up to Arsenal by a point despite conceding six less goals and having a vastly superior goal difference. This design was worn when Schmeichel made a clawing save to keep Newcastle at bay in a 1-0 victory at St. James’ Park.
