Home shirt as worn when Roy Evans took over from Graeme Souness and guided the side to the Coca-Cola Cup triumph over Bolton. Clough was signed from Forest for a £2.275 million fee. The England international made the perfect start, scoring twice in the Premiership opener against Sheffield Wednesday but would struggle to hold down a consistent place in the side over the coming seasons due to the emergence of Robbie Fowler.
