Sponsorless home shirt released when La Dea looked to once again contend for the Serie A title but this season turned out to be a disappointment as the side finished outside of European places in Serie A, for the first time since 2015-16. In Europe, Atalanta were knocked out in the group stage of the Champions League but managed to finish in 3rd place which meant they could compete in the Europa League knockout phase. I Nerazzurri dispatched Olympiacos and Bayer Leverkusen in the first two rounds but they ran out of steam in the quarter-finals where RB Leipzig defeat them 3-1 on aggregate.
