Home shirt as worn in a disappointing trophyless season for the Blaugrana under manager Louis van Gaal. Barca managed a 2nd place finish in La Liga, finishing 5 points behind winners Deportivo La Coruña. The side were knocked out in the Semi-Finals of the Copa del Rey and the Champions League by domestic rivals Atletico Madrid and Valencia respectively. The lack of a trophy was enough to see Barca part ways with Louis van Gaal at the end of the season with Lorenzo Serra Ferrer taking over after the Dutchman.
