Third shirt as worn when Schalke were relegated from the Bundesliga after 30 seasons in the top-flight of German football. Schalke got off to an awful start to the season, going 14 games without a win, with team going through 5 managers throughout the season to try and fix their troubles, however they were relegated in late April with the team finishing with just 16 points through their 34 games.
